Im trying to understand white balance, I can select a custom setting in my camera so if I have a problem with Auto white balance like an incorrect tint I can change it. But Ive read you use the camera to select a white point in the image if possible, or take cards along with you with grey and white. What I dont understand is are you meant to choose the whitest white you can see or a grey? Are the cards a good idea? I read a bit here:
