If we get measurable snow up north this year, it's probably another month off :-(
A 2 hour drive to enjoy it, but certainly worth the time.

I've only had the opportunity to shoot snow once, last year when we brought the dog up for the 1st time. It was overcast and the photo was pretty underexposed. Taken in manual mode on the Sony Cybershot.

Calvus I couldn't get over to where the canoes were as I wasn't dressed appropriately and they were in the woods and wouldn't give me a very interesting angle of the lake.

I was just curious I noticed the strong contrast between the red canoe and the white snow and thought it could make a nice shot.
