So I had these doors that I loved and was sure I could use somehow in this challenge. Several ideas. It was the last day . . . of course! So I ran out for sky and again that evening for a sunset with the intention of getting a moon that night. Then I realized that the night shot was impossible in time - moon rise wasn't until 4 a.m. So I made the stars and moon with brushes, polished it all up, and was happy as a clam (how do we even know that clams are happy??).

Then I realized that this might not be the place where brushes are explicitly allowed, so I checked the rules. Oops, wrong competition. Back to the drawing board with very little time left. The only thing with any hope was the kid on the swing. Used the sky I'd shot for the other one and put it together pretty hastily (surprised no one noticed the lower left corner). Did fine all along, finished fine. But I wished all week - and still do - that I'd had a legal version of the other idea to put in.
