I have a strange problem: I'm away with a computer without connection and my iPhone. I'm editing my Windows entry and I can't transfer my image on the phone since iTunes doesn't detect the iPhone. So I can't upload my entry. Any advice?

can you email the image to yourself?

edit
oh, didn't read the part that said your computer doesn't have connection.

If you have a thumbdrive, load the pic on there and go to the nearest public library. Most public libraries have internet and will allow a "gues" (someone without a card) to use their computers. I have had to do it a few times here and there.

I have no internet connection and no libraries where I am now. I can only upload from my computer to my iPhone but I don't know how...

why doesn't itunes recognize the phone?

maybe there's an app that can switch your phone into disk mode and you can get the phone mounted on your desktop via usb.

If your phone company allows tethering, you could try to set it up, so that the computer can access the Internet through the phone. It doesn't require iTunes, I work that way quite frequently.

Does your computer have bluetooth? - Try a bluetooth file transfer.

Thank you guys :)

I tried tethering but I don't know why it doesn't work.

Bluetooth detecting doesn't work on this computer.

Luckily it seems I found a connection on another PC, so cross your fingers for me.

Ps. I almost finished the editing an I can say I like my image :)

Glad it worked out. I'm pretty sure any 3rd party transfer apps would have required a wifi connection.
Christophe's solution was a great idea. Do be careful about setting up tethering though if it might cause you to lose a plan. In my case I have a grandfathered plan that gets my phone unlimited data for a small monthly fee. If I change it or add tethering though, I will lose the grandfathered unlimited plan. Tethering would be sweet now that I have the new iPhone with 4G LTE and 30Mbps+ downloads- but I don't want to lose my unlimited plan...
