Wow, it's wonderful to see so many people who care so much about Dallas. You know, you never know how many people really care sometimes. I knew this was a great community, and I am so glad that I joined here. It brings tears to my eyes reading some of the things that you all are doing.
Dallas is getting better with each day, though there have been some setbacks here and there. I think it's getting harder and harder on him mentally to be there, as he is beginning to get more and more emotional.
Anyhow, thank you all for everything you are doing for him! He will have years of recovery ahead of him.
Also wanted to add, the wepay link that was listed in this thread is the link that goes DIRECTLY to Dallas' recovery fund. Otherwise it goes to CaringBridge. But, if it wasn't for CaringBridge, there are so many families that wouldn't have a way to keep their loved ones informed. I was originally going to buy a domain and set up a website for Dallas (which I may still do once I have more time), and my sister-in-law set up the caring bridge site for him, which was a blessing.
So to those who have donated directly to Dallas, THANK YOU, and to those who have donated to the CaringBridge site, THANK YOU.
AND, to those who continue to keep Dallas in your thoughts, your prayers, your mind... THANK YOU as well.

Have all offered to donate $10 each to Dallas Ridings Golf Tournament run by Chad Ridings to sponsor a hole.
My problem is I am in the UK and Chad wants a check for the $$,could someone help out and collect and send check for this ,I am willing to pay for any expenses incurred as it was me who started this off.

Yes, I can do this. I have a PayPal account and can receive payment. I'll find my checkbook (I know I have one!) and get the check out either today or tomorrow. I see 11 names - is that right? If so, I will send a check for $110 to sponsor a hole. Do you have his email? You may want to send him a copy/screenshot of the dpchallenge logo that appears in the upper left of the page so they can use that on the sign for the hole.
I will send you each a PM with my PayPal account info.

Dallas Ridings benefit
There was a benefit here today -- the guy on the right is a friend of mine and a member of the band that played.
I had seen a sign for it, but never connected that it was "our" Dallas until I saw Keith's post on facebook tonight.
Wish I wasn't so dense--I could've run over after the wedding I had to do today!

Dallas had SUCH a great time!
I wish I had gotten that picture while I was there. I right-click-saved it to my comp. :)
Anyways... it was a GREAT event... and HHB said they wanted to do something for him next year as well.
I'm hoping to put something together for the weekend of April 6-7, which will mark the one year date since his accident. So anyone who is wanting/willing to help organize this, PLEASE let me know! It would be great to let Dallas meet some of the people that have sent out thoughts, prayers, and gifts to him.
