I agree!! If this is stretched into a week challenge it won't be fair to us who already took and submitted our photos. I have company this weekend but I took time out to get my shot.

How about being fair to the people who went by the deadline posted and decided to wait to shoot a picture. Those who already subitted something and are not happy with it can always shoot something else and change their entry.

Because it is called a SPEED challenge! Which means...work fast!

Apparently so :-)

Just noticed - so it is finishing today!!

Shoot. I relied on the wrong deadline.

I was hoping for the wrong deadline because I only found out about this challenge late Saturday night and was busy most of Sunday so I didn't even have a chance to find a tutorial.

Oh now it says today and not Thursday. I'm so confused.

If you opened the actual challenge page it always said 48 hour and on the front page there was always the little clock icon indicating it is a speed challenge.

3 hours to go and I decided to shoot something and put it in. Haven't entered in a while and this is basically a free study to learn something new. I couldn't pass it up.

I guess there will be a lot of night shots in this challenge ;)

I am in and I have learnt something new. Great challenge!

I should have known the countdown deadline was initially wrong, but the procrastinator in me wanted it to be correct.

I tried to take a shot from a tutorial tonight. It was a learning experience. Unfortunately, I did not learn enough to make things turn out like the tutorial. I think I will sit this one out. Maybe I'll post it later in the Tutorial outtake thread. Maybe someone can help me figure out what I was not doing quite right.
