i just moved into the smartphone realm, my wife and i got windows phones, specifically the samsung focus.

I love this phone, love it.

i have used an iphone and android before, and the interface on this phone destroys at least android, and is better than the iphone imo. its effortless to navigate.

i know its lacking in app numbers but who cares, this thing is sweet. it has all the apps i need.

i have been sitting here just flicking the screen mesmerized.

really? interesting, i was wondering how the new windows phone would do. i have hated windows mobile with a PASSION which is why i went with a droid (prob would have gotten an iphone if verizon had them at the time) ill have to see if they have one and check it out when my upgrade is due in july

I was skeptical how it would be becuase it didn't WP6 either, but this is very sweet.

everything just integrates nicely, for instance my wife set up her facebook and now when she goes in her "people" she can view their wall, comment, call them, text them, email (assuming all that info is set up) from one page, she doenst need to go to a facebook app.

the phone calendar will automatically merge calendar from outlook, google, windows live, etc. as well as email and contacts, all i did was set up google user name and password in both phones and our calendars are synced up. it couldnt be easier.

its the perfect phone for us, since we did this to keep our lives organized.

i am truly impressed.

first windows media center 7, and now window phone 7, im loving microsoft right about now.

That's good to know. I'm an Android guy and am eyeing a phone with the Super Amoled 2 screen. Samsung has one coming this quarter.

Good to hear. I have a Droid X now and love it but have been watching the new MS phones with interest. Most of what I have read has been positive. I would not worry aboout apps as they will come quick enough if the operating system sells. MY guess is Apple will be pushing to get their iPhone on Verizon quick so they do not lose market share. As of now Verizon has neither. My adult son wants my Droid bad so I'll have to take a look at the new MS system when Verizon finally gets one, maybe he'll get lucky and inherit my Droid.
