What's a Rugby? Is it a new type of vacuum cleaner or something? |

No, you must be thinking of the Roomba -- though I wouldn't doubt they (and their lawyers) considered the idea at some point -- or should have. |

As an aussie, I'm torn. I'm not sure what to think.... should I be happy the all blacks lost or disgusted that the frogs go thru? Help me here :-)

A result is a result so we have to accept it but the ref made some shockers in this one.
The yellow card was nowhere near a professional fowl, he was turning to follow the ball. That penalty cost the AB's 3 points. The French did the same thing later and weren't penalised.
He missed the forward pass by the French and that led to a try.
So thats 10 points the French got due to poor ref performance. Oh well, next time it's in NZ |

I think you are little bias nuzzer, so I am you will tell. To be honest, the yellow car was fair (Mcalister stopped a Frenchie who did not have the ball yet, this is called obstruction, the action takes place when the French team was going for a try), the French will have scored a try anyway.
Do not tell me that the second try of the French team was not good...the Blues went through the defense line using a very well designed team work!
Also, the French team missed a few penalties, which were not too difficult in normal circumstances...
It is easy to criticize the ref as being faulty to let France won the game, but the real facts are that your team had a hard time during the second period against a very strong defense. |

Hmmm, if games between England and Argentina are Falklands rematches, what is England v France? Trafalgar? Waterloo?

I have to say the French defence was superb and without it the game would have been over early in the match. I couldn't believe how they stopped the AB's getting over the try line.
Isuppose it's too much to hope that someone can take the springboks out before the final ?
and as for

So, you're saying that rugby is like football? Are you sure? I thought you folks called soccer "football". Now I'm really confused.
Actually, I have it on good authority that a rugby is either a clothing line by Ralph Lauren, or a 1920s brand of automobile made by Durant Motors. Wikipedia never lies, and it's certainly easier to believe either of those than that it's anything like real football. I'm no expert however, so I'll take your word for it. Perhaps it is some archaic forms of football. :)

Looks like it is up to the Springboks now to salvage some pride for the Tri Nations countries.
We made it past a hard fighting Fiji, now for the winner between Argentina and Scotland.
Go Bokke!
