Hi, my name is Mary and I am six years old. I took these pictures with mommy's camera and mommy helped me edit them. What do you think of them?
  
I really like taking pictures. This is my first bee picture and I did really good with it.

PS - Mary is really really proud of her bee picture! And mommy is really proud of Mary! :)

Rightfully so, that bee shot is very good regardless of the photog's age; and the daylily is even better.

Hi Mary... what wonderful pictures!!! You really have an eye for photography and I hope that you'll keep taking wonderful pictures like the ones you've posted. The bee picture is beautiful. I really like the contrast between the yellow on the bee and the bright red of the flower. Way to Go!!! Your mom should set you up an account so you can compete in the challenges. I imagine you would place very high.

Mary..those are all very good pictures, especially your bee photo. Keep shooting pictures like that and you'll be able to beat mommy here on DPC (if mommy would get you an open account)

| Great Pictures Mary! Mommy's going o have some competition on DPC when you get older :-) Unfortunatly, that means I am to, lol. Now just tell mommy you want a 30D, how can she say no when you take pictures like that ;-) |

I want to thank ya'll for your responses and comments. Mary has enjoyed the whole experience immensely. (She's been on cloud nine sine I first told her I'd post her photos, as a matter of fact!)
She has a birthday coming up, and I think that I'll get her an account here as a birthday present. She was very excited at the idea!

Aww.. Lovely pictures. Do open an account for Mary because that'll just encourage her to experiment and bring her pictures at par with the rest of the photographers beyond her years.
I still have the pics I took when I was 4 and I adore them immensely. I had a more steadier hand then and they're probably better then what I take now...OOps. :) |

Sara, thanks for sharing. I have been putting off getting my 3 year old his own camera, but I am going to get off the stick and get him one sooner than later. These are great shots, especially since they are from a child's perspective.
Mary, great job, I can't wait to see more from you.
