And I found some color in the desert. Does the color look ok? How's the picture overall? Thanks guys. |

The color looks fine to me although the image doesn't hold my interest for too long. The bokeh is great but the vast majority of the image is taken by the branch that isn't really as stunning compared to the flower it's cradling ;) Just my two cents ;) |

Rikki, it is people 2 cents that I am learning from. It is greatly appreciated. Goin to try to crop it and remove more of the branch. Thank you. |

I would try to do some burn on it. create depth and interest with the shadows even when it takes a majority of the image. personally, the blue on the upper right seems to counter balance the almost desaturated colors of the rest of the image. |

I don't know what desert you found that in, but we don't have a lot of blossoms like that here in the Sonoran Desert of southern Arizona. I'm jealous. ;)

It's off the cherry tree in the back yard. I was hoping that folks could give me pointers on what im doing wrong or right in the taking of the picture and the processing. Maybe point me in the direction of sites or books to help me in learning... I don't want to annoy people here everyday with a new picture and questions unless people dont mind.
