I don't know exactly. She moved houses and I only knew her last street. but thanks.

no worries. As far as i know, the homes lost were up in the hills. Along Woy Woy Rd, Phegans Bay and Horsefield Bay. |

What a terrifying thread to check in and read after not having been on the threads in a long time! I am SO thankful that there is a happy ending for you Lisa. My heart goes out to the ones in your area who weren't so lucky!
We are having fires go rampant here in Texas too. Many people are experiencing some of the same things you just went through.

yep that is us.. It was the hottest day since 1939. It actually got to 46-47 degrees (116.6) |

| Hey Lisa. Glad all is ok with you. Sad to hear a volunteer has died and a few houses were lost. It could of been a lost worse though I guess. Scarey stuff! |

Hey Lisa, still in Umina till Friday it would be great to catch up. I was going to PM you yesterday but as we were on our way back to the school we noticed the fire and it all started going mayhem, we packed everything up in case. PM'ed you my mobile number. We haven't got heaps of time to catch up but let us know.
We're smelling smoke again now, but hopefully just more control fires. |

I sent you a PM. I can also smell smoke again, I dont know where they are though.
Incase you dont get your PM, I saw you today, by the time i did a u-turn you went into the Peninsula Christian centre. Will defiantely try to catch up. Maybe let me a know a time you are free and I will see what i can do.
