I have had several responses now to the fact that I have two persian show cats, and bathe them regularly. LOL...

For anyone that needs help, or advice, or even wants to know where to buy certain products, we can discuss that here if you like?

Thanks!
Rose

Here are my babies (one photo of about 800..LOL):

Thank you. This is of course due to the daily grooming and the weekly batheing.

The left one is my solid lilac, Opey. Full name is "Crayola Cats Magnum Opus Quixotic". We call him Opey for short. It used to be Opus..LOL..but his personality is DEFINATELY that of an Opey.

The right one is "Dawnlights Beau Monde Elite". Called "Beau Beau" for short. He is actually a cream and white. A bit of a street cat in a persian body, but it is nice to have different personalities on them both. It is like a baby and his big brother in how they treat each other.

They are dolls, but it isn't easy keeping them in this shape. I waited 30 years for these boys. Financially it wasn't possible till earlier this year, nor did I have the time until I became disabled to take care of them as needed. So they are now little dreams come true.

Thanks again!

I know little about show cats...well actually nothing.

But they look real fluffy, and just adorable.

Good to see another Persian owner around :-D

My wife and I bred/showed cats in CFA for about 11 years until both our jobs kept us from traveling like we needed to for shows. We still have a cattery with 11 altered ex-show cats! (Yes we are crazy..thanks for asking)

Cat breeding was the main reason I returned to photography about 7 years ago...to document our cat breeding and shows :-)

Here are a few of the thousands of photos I have taken over the years

We don't keep our cats in coat now. We shave them down like lions, leaving a mane, furry feet and a pom-pom tail...
