Well, my beloved Winnie-the-Pooh is getting a makeover, along with all the other inhabitants of the 100-Acre Wood...just in time for the cartoon's 80th birthday. Something about updating and staying with the times...but do they really have to get rid of one of the characters????? EEEEK!
I guess change is inevitable and necessary, but I sure loved Pooh and his pals just the way they were. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Wow. That's unsettling. It was nice to see that the same characters I remembered were the ones my daughter first fell in love with. Glad we have tons of photos of her dancing with and hugging those characters @ Disney. I'm sure that to her it wouldn't matter as much but its reassuring to find that the same old Pooh bear I remember is the one that made her face light up. Thanks for posting the link.

???? Just what kind of 'older' audience are they trying to attract by changing Chris to a 6-year-old girl?
That tops my list of 'most retarded things I've seen today'.
That didn't take long -- the girl moves to number two.

/edit - to add a joke the daughter of a friend told her father a few days ago. "Why did Tigger wash his hands?" -- "He was playing with Pooh!"
