Here is one of mine... I liked it, but the clearest one (again no tripod yet), this one, I cut the top of the structure off... the others were slightly blurred.

Sorry, I'll shrink it and repost! I'm dial up and home and fully understand!

Might have gone with this except for editing issues. Went another way.

I decided to enter a few challenges again. Here are some of my outtakes. Late Night Outtakes

I decided not to enter anything because:
1) Open challenges tend to get alot of entries
2) I knew I didn't have anything really good enough to set myself apart

On the other hand, this is an edited pic that I took, and I'm open to any critiques! :)

Thanks!

Tara, I left you a comment.

This was my second choice for the "Late Night" challenge. Any thoughts?

Thanks! I actually did little editing, so the lights just turned out that way. With my camera, it is really difficult to get a good, clear night picture. I tend to end up with a lot of noise. Yours is really nice. I like the clean lines, the peaceful feeling I get from looking at it. The shadows add character, and the light source is perfect. Not like my glaring street lamps! :)

I didn't submit this

But I'm starting to wish I did.

That's awesome, keegbow! I guess we're all feeling a little "late night" remorse. I know I'm not the greatest (not even close!), but a lot of the challenge photos seem grainy, and some are just plain bad! I wouldn't have gotten a ribbon, but I think I could have done better than a lot that did enter.

Here is a picture I just took last night. The one I took for the challenge appearantly wasn't so good. I'm not sure what this would've got me but I thought it was cool.

My son wanted a ride to the store. So while he was inside I sat in the car with my camera taking pictures through the window, mostly just experimenting with different settings and lighting situations in the parking lot there. Three people came out wearing white and walked in front of my car through the headlight beam.

I was torn, I had several shots I wanted to enter. None of them were near as good as the winners.

or this one

I really liked them all.
I had a ball taking these pictures.
