Good action shot but the focus is a little soft, especially on your subject's(girl) face.

Comment by Teafran:
Good impact visually, the image appears to be ever so slightly over sharpened as evidenced by the halo around the edges of the subject. It would have helped the image if the subject punching was in shadow which would bring out the lovely complextion and instill a sense of immediacy to the image. A good effort demonstrating one aspect of fitness and of self defense.

Gesture would be recognized in many countries, but the rather gentle expression seems to be a mismatch. The bright reflection on the door paint lowers the image quality, and might be reduced using a diffuser or an off-camera flash.

Ok, it's a little cheeky, but meets the challenge. What lets it down heavily though, is the snap shot feel to it. The glare from the flash on the door is severe. The door itself was probably a bad choice for background anyway. Then you've chopped off her feet.... and wrapped the image up in a fuchsia border.

How to minimise the glare from flash, would be to diffuse it. Tape a bit of tissue over the flash next time and try that. Or better yet, go outside! I can't help thinking this set up would have been awesome had she been posing outside a school...

The idea and makeup are good, but i really don't like the pink border and the reflection of the flash at her back. Besides the flash, her face stills a little dark. Maybe a different place would be better to take this shot, maybe a little makeup to the scenery would be great! Sorry if i was rude, good luck!

Not big on this boarder and needs a little different lighting.
