You've set an interesting mood with this shot, it's not your usual "Building with water in front" type of thing, your editing and tones have given it a much more interesting look.

I'm going to be in Amsterdam in a week or so... I imagine I too will be boating with an umbrella (gotta do what you gotta do eh). This is a nice picture, what with the reflection and all.

I visited one of the American cemetaries in France. They're amazing places, both in how beautifully they're maintained as this shot shows, and staggering in just how many people are buried there.

With all the cold we've had and now lots of rain this looks very inviting.

Hi, Critique Club here...

I think this did pretty well for a free study. I like the composition and the colors (colours ;) ) of it. The technicals are right on the money.

I think what would have elevated this into the 6+ range would have been some action, like the wheel spinning. Otherwise, while pretty in its own right, it's a bit static.

I definately don't think it deserved the scores lower than 4. I don't get the voters around here.

If I voted in this challenge, I would have given this a 6.

Impressive building. Feels like one of those old old photos with the crinkle cut photo edging that you dig up out of your grandmother's old albums.

That looks incredibly cold! I normally don't like such bluish snow, but it does work here.

Very beautiful shot -- not the usual postcard.

As Tammster says, the umbrellas in the punt are a nice added touch.
