under the A380by paynekjComment: I would have loved to see a flash bounced in to the roof of this bridge to see the detail there and I think it might have added an awful lot to the interest in the image, as it is there is no real focal point and so my initial thought is "next".

Apple Pyramid Upside Downby mellie430Comment: The main problem I see here with regards to voters is the apples condition, I think that will hurt your score as much as anything.

A lot in commonby IreneMComment: I like the lighting in this, very IreneM style, not sure this is polished enough for me to actually think it is her work though. A couple of things bug me, that broken shell on the right side for a start and the heavy light fall off, it is quite artistic though :)

How wine turns values.... upside down!by offiofComment: I'm not sure if this is shot with a fisheye or just a huge amount of distortion from a wide lens, but I don't think that the distortion adds anything to the shot, infact I think it hurts what would have been quite a nice shot because I cannot find a real focal point as that lean in the glass really bothers me.

Sunflower Splashby nibblesComment: Unfortunately it looks a bit soft, doesn't really scream upside down although obviously the flower is upside down in the frame, this could easily be a normal shot though that is rotated.

Iron & Brickby r0yalComment: This makes me dizzy just looking at it.
I like the tones in the shot, I guess it was just taken from below and then flipped but it is quite interesting never the less. I am not sure about the angle but it does have me looking at it as I type so is holding my interest.

Water colorsby MelethiaComment: I love the tone of this image, I think the bridge is just a bit too fussy though and I might have been tempted to look for either a higher view point to allow a similar shot with less of the bridge in it, or I might just have cropped tighter at the bottom (not sure how that would have balanced the image though).
Actually as I look at the image I think that grey building on the left could be cropped out almost making for a square crop and that would lessen the impact of the bridge I think.

Run Dorothy! It's a twister!by lambie83Comment: Good idea with the splash but I think the bottom is cropped far too hard, and whilst I think I get the idea to make it look like a natural scene up the right way with the splash being almost abstract and like it is falling out of the sky I think the whole image is made to look very dark and unbalanced because of it.
ETA: Ahh I see the title gives it more meaning, hmm I normally look at the title too must have missed this... I still think the comments above are valid though.

Morning on Locke Pondby jlanoueComment: There are a lot of these shots in the challenge and some really hit the mark and others whilst very nice don't really come with the WOW factor.
Unfortunately yours is in the latter category for me and I think this is due to the very straight lines across the image, the two signs on the left are a bit distracting and that forground item is a bit distracting IMHO.
They are some wonderful autumnal colours though and must have been a sight to behold

What the?.....I HATE YOU!by GreatJobBobComment: Heh original take on the challenge that I think many will be able to associate with. My main points of CC would be that there is maybe slightly too much blur on the hand, and the image is overall quite dark. Actually it could probably do with a slightly stronger composition with more cropped from the right.
