The Godfatherby jettyimagesComment by robs: This is great... I like the spot effect of the vin. The hard vs. soft (flowing white rug) is a good opposite effect. Well done. |

Table settingby jettyimagesComment by Ammie: Although technically a good picture, I am not a black and white fan and I am not a naked study fan. A bit old fashioned, they call it. I am not voting on this one, it will be unfair to the photographer. |

The Godfatherby jettyimagesComment by alb673: Very stricking photo. I like the idea of the innocent and fragile look of the baby contrapposed to the hard and somewhat dangerous look of the man |

Table settingby jettyimagesComment by Art Roflmao: I like the lighting and tones here, but the pose feels strained and the decapitation makes me uncomfortable. Worth a 6 though. :) |

Table settingby jettyimagesComment by Teafran: Interesting, unique and different - an inspired set piece perfectly executed. The very sutble treatment and excellant grayscale conversion enhances the soft focus creating a very empyrean effect. This image compares favorably with some of the more classical romantic period painters and in some ways could be considered a homage to their style and technique. An outstanding image that is very unique in this challenge. A standing ovation would be in order for submitting such an excellant image. |

The Godfatherby jettyimagesComment by dsa157: great portrait. this would look even better zoomed in tighter, cropping at his waist so you can see more of his expression and the baby and his inkwork. |
