The merry-go-round goes 'round and 'round...by EpsiComment: Thanks everyone for the votes and comments. Glad you like it, it was worthwhile to make the fool of myself jumping around the park swinging the umbrella back and forth. Certainly, the kids playground laugh at my expenses for a while.

Heaven and earthby EpsiComment: Thanks all for the votes and comments.
@mefnj, this was my first successful attempt to photograph smoke. There are several tutorials all around on how to do it even in DPC_Tuto.
I don't have an external flash and I don't let my self to spend more money on gear until I settle somewhere so in this case I use the built-in flash of the camera. Luckily, it was good enough.
@tanguera, Thanks for your comment, I don't seem to handle borders properly always end up second guessing how big, what color if to use or not to use.... Haven't developed an artistic eyes for them yet, hopefully I manage to get it soon. Message edited by author 2012-11-28 13:08:38. |

Perceptionby snafflesComment: I would have preferred having the eyes in a more central composition the moth and nostrils appear to be only distracting from very interesting eyes. |

Shadowby agrimaceComment: Her pose seem quite unnatural to me, her expression seem too empty and flat of emotion. I would have preferable a stronger attitude. Not quite fan of the shadow either. |

The Wall...by NikonJebComment: Man, I find that street light annoying.... I would have liked so much more without it, but I guess there was no way of avoiding it. Street shots are like that. Nice wall though. |

Eternally Blueby JulietNNComment: I found that the lack of detail on her face make the image too flat. The black things are such a contrast with the lack of detail of the skin that appear disconnected and fake. The eyes also get a bit lost with the strong highlights of the skin. |

Taking the Plunge?!by rockyrajanComment: I love the body language in this one, his fully extended arms and lower head transmit a sensation of fatigue/resignation. I find the title not be quite in accordance with the feeling on the image, although cultural differences and wrong preconceptions are probably misleading my interpretation. |

Aliciaby FocusPointComment: For some reason I get the impression that the back of her head is too flat, somewhat odd and distracting. But probably is just me... Her expression looks very natural and sincere, I like it. |
