Young Treesby laurenrhaeComment by TooCool: Wonderfully original subjects for a still life!!! Bonus for that! The lighting however kind of lets you down a little. I would also try pulling back a touch to get more background to frame the subject or tighter crop to eliminate it. As is it makes the image lopsided.

Young Treesby laurenrhaeComment by indigo997: helicopters! i'd love to do a shot of one of these falling against a black background.. slow shutter with a flash at the end to freeze it at the bottom of the fall. interesting texture but this looks more like a found nature shot than a traditional set up still life.might also do with a tad more contrast |
