Flowby jomariComment: No editing needed - the infinitely variable patterns of the waterfall provide endless, almost hypnotic fascination. |

BW #9by turnofthesueComment: The leaf stands out nicely among the textures of the wood chips. |

hannahby retakeComment: I don't think there is any focus problem here but a bit of motion blur given the shutter speed and 2x or 3x telephoto effect. The delicacy of the hair is retained which is the most telling evidence to me. This is a beautifully natural capture and to my eye quite powerful in its spontaneousness even with the attention of the subject to the photographer. |

BW #3by turnofthesueComment: The textures of the shirt really pull us in and contrast brilliantly with the lateral pattern of the fences. Surprizingly enticing image, I think, because of the tantalizing visual tug-of-war between the central placement of the child and the strong textures of the surrounding environment that tickles my eyes and beyond. Through the Swampby MelonMusketeerComment: I like the genuine local environment - unprocessed. This challenge is really got me going since I've never been a fan of post processing. |

flowerby retakeComment: I love this shot. It takes us back, way back when photography was real and honest as best could be captured in its unadulterated form before we had the technology to allow imagination to take over. Oh well. I guess the technology is progress. |

At the Parkby PennyStreetComment: Nearly idylic scene of a peaceful park in these contentious times. Anachronistic but still possible or at least we can hope so. |

Treeby PennyStreetComment: I love the progression from sharp detail in the bark back through the tree limbs to the out of focus distant leaves and sky. |
