goneby RKTComment: An exceptional use of the effect. Thank you a billion times, first and foremost, for not creating a Thomas Kinkade painting. That alone deserves a ribbon, methinks. But seriously, it's a very pleasing application, it's not overdone, it fits the mood, and I love the eeriness. The Orton Effect was strongly executed, but it fit nicely and is anything but garish. Well done. |

Cities and Knights...and Camelsby giantmikeComment: Finally! An entry with an interesting and fun game!
The decision on focus is a hard one here... I'm not sure which I'd truthfully prefer, but the limited DoF does feel a bit awkward. The whole thing in focus might feel boring though, so tough to say. |

The Wayfarer's Darkroomby pambComment: Excellent shot balancing multiple different light intensities. I really like that the computer shot, the stars, and the tent are all equally exposed. Not an easy task and well done. |

Crime sceneby PaulComment: A frankly very surprising finish for this one. A shot like this on DPC is surprisingly novel, to say the least. As a crime scene shot, I'd like to see the chair in sharper focus, but it looks like you were fighting low light, as well. Very good, very interesting. |

627 μsby pambComment: Great shot, Pam. Love the dark, foreboding clouds. Nice composition and really just an excellent all around shot. |

Chocolate Dripby JCrest01Comment: Revamping my vote, as I said, this does well as a stock shot, and I'll agree it does work well for stopped motion. Vote upped. |

dragon ballby TiberiusComment: Blurred subject, distracting background elements. Numerous issues with an action capture. |

Making snow cloudsby PennyStreetComment: Nice idea, good job of slowing the mundane. I'd like to humanize the shoveler, they are nothing in this crop. Perhaps crop small bottom left with large snow spray? Great idea, in any case. |
