The detail is excellent, the fish appears almost fake. Bumped to 8.

Love the pose and edit. Looks like a bit of light could've been used on the right instead of pushing in post, but this is a great, expressive pet shot. The dogs neck photo right seems to be a bit oddly colored, same with the fur on the dog's left front leg. Regardless, this is the best shot in the challenge. Bumped to 9.

Nice shot, but lighting focuses attention on the human in this, not the pets, so this is a portrait of a pet owner, not a pet.

A nice shot, but could use some WB work, as the WB makes the dog seem blue in places and doesn't seem natural.

Nicely done portrait. The tones and lighting are great. I'd like to see more eye engagement, but this is very nice.

The crop is rather awkward, as it is not a particularly photogenic perspective as it makes your dog look much longer than it is. Try to get lower, so you are looking your dog face to face, it will create a much better perspective. Also, looks like there was a bit of difficulty obtaining focus, as your camera has focused on the leaves/scene behind the dog. Work on your composition/camera operation and this could be improved a lot.
This isn't a perfect example, but it shows how much livelier your dog can seem if you get lower to shoot the photo.

I really like the shot, but the blur in the shot seems strange. The jaw is in focus but the entire top snout is not other than whiskers... I'm assuming this blur was introduced in PP, and it isn't consistent. Beyond that, really like the shot.

Nicely done on the eyes, but consider cloning out the building behind the cats head. It is distracting and is in a horrible spot. Either clone or change angle of shot to get a cleaner background.

I'd like a closer crop. Such a great pose and lighting, I'd tighten the focus on the face.

Great color palate, great job having the car be in the frame but complimented by everything else around it. Well done. ETA: My pic for the best image, bumped to a 9 to reflect such
