Specks and the Universeby greenem2Comment: Hey Green. I have always enjoyed your photos, but in going back and looking over some challenges I didnt paticipate in, I saw this shot and just had to comment. Absolutely excellent image. Love the b&w, the grain, the mood, the relative size of the subjects as well as the overall composition. In contrast to some other opinions, I like the composition as is. By leaving so much of sand at the bottom of the image, you balanced the 'earth' with the rest of 'the universe' which help to accentuate the smallness of mankind in relation to both of these concepts. Wonderful image, please keep 'em coming. You are quite gifted. md |

Red and Yellow make ...by JackoComment: Nice composed and framed. Clean, crisp focus. Great lighting. All in a an excellent photo. 9 md - (update) After further review, the judges have ruled this to be a 10 instead of a 9. 5 yards, and a 1st down! ;?) 10 md |

Green Steel Blue Lockby CosmosFotosComment: One of the most interesting shots in this weeks challenge. Focus does seem a tad off, and I a little unsure about the composition. maybe rotated to a verticle orientation would be better? Not sure... Also, If you could have shifted the blue to orange, it might have both made more of an impact, and hit hit the challenge even more swuarely on the nose. Still though, this is a very nice photo, and I very much like it. Well done. 8 md |

Love Storyby ursulaComment: Very nicely composed shot. Good lighting and nice warm colors, though they seem to lean more towards the yellow and white than the complementary colors required for the challenge. All in all a very nice photo, good title too. 8 md |

secondary curvesby shutterflyComment: Nice, clean, simple, interesting. I like the fact that you flipped the brush so green is on orange. Lighting could be a little more thorough - would avoid the shadow on the left side of the brush. Plus the focus on the brush seems just a hair off. All in all, excellent work. 9 md |

Charge!by dadas115Comment: Wow, great image. Great focus on the head of teh critter. Nice job capturing it on a white background, really help to viewer focus on the subject of the photo, which is the bug. Nice colors on his shell, and he even managed a very nice smile for the camera. Good Job! 9 md |
