Another blue ribbon contender. It's very difficult to capture snow crystals without blowing out pixels and the author pulled it off perfectly. The transition from black to gray to white is perfect. If Georgia O'Keeffe had talked Alfred Stieglitz into making a photograph under her direction, this would have been the result.
