Fabulous! I tend to think the other child in the shot is a distraction, but I wouldn't vote down for that (if I could vote on this challenge). This is such a delightful picture and a terrific title. Best of luck in the challenge, but more importantly, I'm sure you made this little girl's parents very happy with a photo they will surely cherish forever. Nice job.

This is a great candid and nice use of a shallow depth of field. Blurring the background makes your subject pop. Good luck.

I am not a member and therefore can't vote, but I saw the thumbnail and took a closer look. This is an extraordinary photo. It's going into my favorites right away. I love everything about it from the the lighting to the shadows to the negative space to the subdued colors. I do hope you make this available as a print and I can remember to order a copy if you do. Simply fantastic work. Good luck with the challenge.

I'm glad I opened up the thumbnail and took a closer look at this one (I'm not voting so I'm not looking at all the shots, just the thumbnails that intrigue me). The texture of the snow is so interesting and makes a nice contrast to the dots of the lights on the tree. Good choice of making it black and white too. I don't think it'd have near as much impact in color. I can easily see this hanging in a gallery. I hope too see this with a ribbon next week. Good luck!

A fun concept, but I think you need to work on (ironically enough) the lighting to make your shot more appealing. Maybe making it black and white? As it is, it's not a bad photo, just not much to look at. I'm not voting in this challenge. Just wanted to leave a few comments for some folks. Good luck.

I wish I could vote on this challenge to give your photo the 10 I think it deserves. Wonderful detail of the feathers brought out by the light. Just a fantastic shot. I already added it to my favorites. Good luck.

this isn't a challenge I can vote on so I was just glancing through the thumbnails. This one really caught my eye. Wonderful, softness and tone. This is a portrait any mother would cherish forever. Good luck in the challenge. A 10 to me!

This is truly an exciting photograph. I gave it a 10 for everything from lighting, to composition, to the fact that you were there at the right time to capture this shot. Good luck in the challenge.

What an incredible picture. I'm adding this to my favorites right now! The pose, the composition, the lighting, the depth of field, all work so perfectly to make a charming scene. Good luck with the challenge. A 10 if I could score.
