If it were mine (I wish) I would also change the cropping on the left hand side so that the the line of the building meets the same hight the point does where the pigeon is standing. (the left hand side of the metlife building) Actually if it truelly was mine I would make sure the color of the pigeon's feet where still correct as well, and the line I would choose would be the corner towards us of the metlife building. I do find the light color of the ledge to be distracting and the bird has more room behind then in front. (normally in wild-life shots have the animal looking into the larger space) I think the cropping on the left would give the impression of ^^^^ continuing triangles so the mind would just fill in what it could not see of the ledge.

I really like that it is in color. I really like the angle of the shot looking down on both the bird and the buildings. (rather then eye level to the bird I don't think you would get the same feeling).
I really like the concept as well.

Having some...um...issues with extreme heights...I know I couldn't take a pic like this. Nice shot. I'm glad ya didn't turn it into b/w like people like to do with NYC shot. I don't think that woulda been right for this shot!!!

I really like this picture, although I do agree that a bit of cropping on the left would have improved it. I think I would have called it "Looking for Targets." =)

This really makes me think how amazing it must be to simply step off a building and fly at will. The viewpoint is incredible - excellent capture. There is a distracting band of dark colour hue at the top but it's too good a shot to worry about very much. However, I would adjust the spelling of 'View'! ;)

I think this is a great photo!! It certainly has a "WOW" factor for me>
The pigeon's colors against the colors of the city is very good, the clarity is excellenT.

P.S. pigeons are very cool birds once you know a little about them.

I'd have called it "Wait! Don't Jump"

I like how the bird's outline shows so well against the buildings. I'd consider taking a little off the left, to just take off the second corner of the ledge. I think the corner and the "leaning" light-colored buildings behind it pull attention away from the subject.

Great composition. Amazing picture of a spider. I like how the bottom of the picture is bright and the hole that its coming out of is really dark. Focusing is really good. Great to see the hairyness of it.
