Beacuse of the strong yellow cast in these greens and in the browns, this actually feels more "warm" than cool. Also seems slightly overexposed to me.

The photo is fabulous, and in another challenge I would likely rate it an 8 or so. But intimacy to me implies a connection between two people or critters... Not getting that at all from this.

I voted this kinda' low for a few reasons. First, the challenge was to photograph something against the same color background. The shot doesn't really have an object in the foreground. Second, it's out of focus. And third, there is a lot of noise in the sky. Using a tripod might help with the blur. I have noise issues in low light with my camera too -- but there is a lot you can do with various software programs to help fix that.
