The background is too cluttered and it seems accidental not planned to show peace in chaos or anything like that. Try removing everything on the couch and the coffee table and get get a little closer as well.

Lovely idea and an impressibe full lotus by you subject.

A couple of thoughts -

1. the focus seems to be slightly off which will no doubt mean it gets dinged in the voting
2. The clutter on the table (water bottles, pizza box etc, actually takes away from the tranquility of the subject). It may have been better to go with a plainer backdrop and I would be interested what this would have looked like in B&W

I think I would have cropped this as a portrait orientation, keeping the guitar in at the left edge and cropping out the stuff on the table to the right. Technically a good exposure though
