a tough picture to take. you just managed to not blacken out your subject and show some details. from a compositional point: the tree is pulling the viewers eyes away from your subject and out of the picture, the bottom part is not really needed for your picture, right? Don'y show it. Place your subject out of the dead center and show some negative space, filled with the nice pastel colors of the sky and clouds.

I think this could be a very strong image, but as submitted, I find the background very distracting. If you were to reposition the camera to the right and crop so that only the sky was visible, I think it would be greatly improved.

Back to comment and bump: Glad I had the time to come back and revisit this entry. Nicely arranged and the post processing is well done. A tad more light on the main subject would have pushed this into the 9-10 range for me. As is, a very well deserved 7.
