Bad Weatherby robstComment: I have a feeling that the weather got a little worse while in Photoshop! It's a bit blue and heavy on the PP, so I just wonder if you've been compensating for some less than dramatic normality? If so, I would leave it more natural and emphasise detail and depth of darks rather than the colour. I'd do this in Lab colour mode and play with the levels in the Lightness channel which would give you a more natural result without blowing colours to the 4-winds. Otherwise, the composition is good. |

Surfer Girlby OmanOtterComment: Great position (you hitch a ride?!) and a wonderful moment. That huge tube behind her shows what she has to deal with.
It's a touch too sharp in places and lacking in some strong light, but it's still a commendable capture. |

Morning Lightby admart01Comment: I'd have made this a more graphical composition by shooting the lines of the wall absolutely straight on, which would emphasise the starkly coloured organic lines of the flowers. Message edited by author 2008-08-08 08:18:37. |

Reflections of Picassoby SpizzerComment: Like the vibe of this and it's refreshing to see. Like the graphic nature and composition too and this would certainly look great at a vast size. The shards of broken image give much to the viewer to peruse. Good luck. |

Leaving Liverpoolby salmiakkiComment: This is way too effected and belittles the subject, which is actually interesting. More water at the bottom would aid composition mind. |

Cecropiaby ccadmanComment: An over-effected treatment of what looked like a fascinating caterpillar. Was the original so bad? It's worth trying to get a great original rather than lean on heavy processing after the event.
Compositionally it is a little too straight and unengaging, so turning the camera 30 degrees clockwise and either filling the frame or offsetting the little fella into a third would have improved it. |

Duneby FalcComment: Cracking shot. Subject is dull as dishwater, but hey.
; )
I'd have cropped out the near foreground though as it detracts from the main forms. Beautiful light. |
