m o n o s o n i cby ImagineerComment: I wasn't aware of the band – until recently after Googling it - but I liked the name.
Vibrated the buoy cable to create ripples.
Desaturated, boosted levels and cropped. As ever, done very quickly at the end of the last day when kids are asleep.

Thanks.

Simply redby lyn100Comment: Well, bound to be a winner with the DPC crowd. This is a very literal concept but it is well shot and edited - and of course, simple.
I'd like to have seen a bit more DOF so that all the petals were totally crisp as the blur does not add an evocative mood for me and the crisp edges are very appealing. |

Radioheadby pedrobopComment: This is more like it - if a tad plagiariszed. Crop is a little tight at the top but I like the grain. |

"Deeper Water"by lealoveComment: Would have gone for a square crop here. A much more 'muso' kind of shot this - in keeping with the spirit of things I think. I'd have liked to see this with completely still water and slight desaturation or cross-processing, which could have yielded a slightly disturbing vibe. |

Mouth of the Stormby BpaigeComment: Wonderful capture. I would have removed the yellow via Hue/Saturation in order to reduce the colour cast which is a bit distracting from your sound composition and amazing subject. |

Intimidationby PhotoDaveComment: Love him! What a character.
Glad to have come to mind - I'm sure Baldrick would have been flattered! |

The Milky Way's Roiling Coreby jlanoueComment: Amazing. That you can capture this is just that. And the subject is wonderful too. A little more depth in the blacks would be just great here but it's still lovely.
At least, I assume this is space and not an horrendous case of hot pixels?! |
