just outside of coolby jdannelsComment: The house is bright and white and pulls the eye becoming the focus of attention. Recompose to eliminate the huse and the fence will have a stronger hold on this photo. |

Ramshackle fenceby TillyTigerComment: For a stronger composition I would crop out the entire sky area, it's not needed and adds nothing to the story of the old fence. The story of the old fence is all about it' being overgrown. I would close in on that. |

linearby tateComment: If you saw this hanging on a wall how would you explain it to a person over the phone that cannot see it.
I see a field of gold that takes up the majority of the photo and at the top right , taking up about 1/10 of the frame is what appears to be a tall blak fence, but it could be shorter as I have no way of really telling, and the top left, taking up a higher portion is gray sky.
So this pic is about a field, not a fence. |

Under the Lightsby laurie241Comment: It's obvious you understand the composition of a sentence, and therefore the term composition. Your pic is like a nice sentence where the subject is the fence and the rest of what is included explains the fence.
Nicely done. |

Old Jewish Cemeteryby raishComment: Finally, a pic that yells FENCE. And very well done with a touch of interest behind the fence which of course explains the fence. This phot is like a well composed sentence with subject being FENCE.
Nicely done. |

Spring in the countryby RayEthierComment: What I see: a nice scenic of horses on a hill surrounded by trees with a little bitty fence in the foreground. I was taught early on to look at the picture and talk about it, and then know what the picture is all about. So to me this photo doesn't say "fence", it says "scenic with horses on a hill surrounded by tree's and litle fence in the foreground".
Hope that helps. |

Barbedby RustyGComment: Crop out the sky and this is a nice shot. The sky being so bright is a real eye puller. |

Picket Fenceby socalsteveComment: I'm not real big on the angle, but the lines are nie, DOF holds interest and B&W treatment seems to fit the photo. |
