So much to see and enjoy, lots of action, depth, emotion. Outstanding. Not a fan of his right hand position, but some elements have to be accepted as presented.

Excellent, smooth flow of color and line. Completely abstract - no message needed, just to enjoy.

Ooh, baby baby it's a wild world...and it's hard to get by, just upon a smile...
This one made me stop. The expression of "trepidation" maybe, facing the light, unprotected...beautiful, but so vulnerable.
Marvelous. This is a winner to me. Gotta bump it. Thanks.

Great contrasts between soft and hard, beauty and harshness. The hat separates her from the difficulty of her world.

Thanks, folks, for the kind comments. This really did way better than I expected. It's been a long time coming to get one in the top 10.

This was a salvage shot - I went down to that small lake to try to take a few shots of the power plant through the trees and fog. The water was very high from a heavy storm the day before, so the access to the edge of the lake was set back about 20 feet. I couldn't get down far enough to even glimpse the stacks. But the scene was quite peaceful and the light filtering through the low fog was soft and gentle. The fog was pretty low...just over the trees...and with no wind the water surface was very steady. I only stayed about 10 minutes, took about 15 shots, and this was the first of the batch. It is quite serene and "zen", isn't it?

I believe it, too! Fantastic shot... his eye is fixed on the trainer or the next obstacle, ready to "hit the ground running". Well done, great catch.

Nice tint without going overboard...enough to make it eerie, not enough to make it cartoonish as so many do. Very dramatic.

Fantastic sharp and high quality, with warm interest. It may be illusion, but to me it looks like your horizontal is off just a couple of degrees- the shoreline, the sky, and the lean of a couple of the elephants contribute to it. Still, an excellent shot.
