May not have had the sparkles of traditional contre-joure, but does show the form of a subject illuminated by light that is behind the subject. I suppose I would classify this as a silhouette (solid, dark image of a subject against a brighter background) rather than a shadow (area of reduced light on a typically flat surface caused by an object blocking the light). Definitions aside, it was fun to capture this image.

Like a silver sculpture - elegant yet rich with detail. I enjoy the approximation to symmetry. For my taste, the image could be stronger with that bright tip of the lowest stem point cloned out, but I'm marking as a favorite so I can easily return to it over time to appreciate the simplicity and beauty.

Perhaps many of those who were able to vote in the challenge missed the irony of a medical setting (curved curtain track found in such habitats) where the intended soothing distraction of TV can end up less than soothing. Conceptual contrast is important even though Photoshop does not have a slider to adjust it.
