This shot might have been better had you used a dark background and tried to capture the smoke from the incense stick. Also, I think you should have concentrated on just showing the incense, the image seems a bit 'cluttered' to me.

I am a big fan of dogs, so when they fit the challenge - way cool! In this case it does fit the challenge, but your lighting (seems it is a post processing issue to remove something in the background?) is so harsh it blows out any bit of detail and interest in this shot.

I'm sorry - but this doesn't work for me - there isn't much holding my interest. Not a fan of your background, and you might have tried cropping so the light doesn't fade as much on the sides.

I really had to look at this for a long time to figure out how you did it - but I think I've got it - one side is a picture placed next to the other? Your lighting is different on each one. The perfume one seems like a little too much light and the onion/garlic seems like not quite enough when right next to the other. I'm not a big fan of either background. Interesting idea for the challenge though!

This image is plagued by some focus issues, it might have helped to sharpen it. I like your composition and lighting is good.

A scented candle

Candles are tough for a scents/aromas challenge - especially since I don't know the scent... looking at this image, I can't imagine what I should be smelling. I like the Pine branches around it, and the way they are highlighted by the candle glow. There just isn't a lot holding my interest.

Excellent capture of the smoke, with all the recent forum discussion about it, it doesn't seem easy. Your coloring seems off, there appears to be some grain that results from a lot of hue/saturation or color adjusting.

Berry Interesting

I'm sure these berries are aromatic - what do they smell like when on the plant? What kind of berries are they? I can't 'imagine' a scent with this shot. Your depth of field is bit off, I think it would be better with the clump of berries in the center as your clear focus and all sides around it fading back. You might try a slight sharpen as well.
