The composition is well done, the first thing I notice is that your blacks are pretty far from true black, which gives the whole image a gray cast to it.

Did you forget to rotate on purpose? The buildings on the left ground the image and make it look silly for being horizontal.

This image would have been a lot more powerful to me if you had done a couple things. Bump the contrast, get that truck out of the frame(thats where the road leads the eye and its a dissapointing destination) and maybe clone out a couple of those road markers on the left. Excellent idea and one that all of us can relate to.
