I'm no expert, but I think the main light (the front right one) could be brighter. Also, depending on what you're going for, you could have not cropped her face so tight and used the other light as a hair/accent light, rather than coming from below.

I like this image - a bit static, but that conveys an interesting mood here. I just wish your submission were a bit bigger - I'm missing some detail because the pic is so small

I love that this "smoke break" is with a pipe - a neat juxtaposition of the stereotypical "scholarly pipe" with a war zone. Nice framing as well.

very interesting - the contrast of black and white space and the girl's pose give this photo a sense of mystery. I'm left wondering where we are/what is going on.

Week 4 - Stairway

i really like this - to echo Urfa's sentiments, I wish the stairs were a bit more prominent. Perhaps if you had cropped the stairs before they ended at the top, giving a feeling like they continue out of the top of the frame. Still, a cool image - and I like the grain.

really neat composition. well exposed, and well framed. I think I prefer the upside down version, though - it plays tricks on my mind and makes things more interesting.

Really cool image - very evocative. If I have one suggestion, I would have preferred to have changed the angle a little bit by shifting your vantage point to the left. That way you wouldn't have so much negative space in the upper left and the towers could loom over the center of the frame a bit more. Still, I think this image says a lot - well done!
