Light at the End of the Tunnelby GraineyComment by bdenny: This photo says two things to me. 1) it should be 'light at the beginning of the tunnel or 2) God took this picture
Is this a long exposure? The lights inside seem brighter than they should be during the day. Interesting shot. |

Snooth Star Fruitby GraineyComment by stphw: This is very imaginative. Nice lighting and I think the black background works to bring out the fruit. I think the cropping needs to be slightly better and with much better focus on the fruit and the sauce, this photo would be great. |

Creationby GraineyComment by dwterry: That's kinda cool seeing all of those silhouettes against a beautiful red sunset. |

Cactusby GraineyComment by dwterry: The patterns (lines, colors) are really nice here. The shallow DOF works very nicely as well. |

Yellow Gold-2by GraineyComment by dwterry: Yes! I like good macro shots (not just closeups) and this looks like macro to me. Well done! |

hawaiian sunriseby GraineyComment by dwterry: I like it a lot! Wish I were there!
The sun isn't really that low, is it? Instead it's a reflection off the water, right? How cool is that?!? It's an awesome shot!

fort rock thirds.jpgby GraineyComment by dwterry: The good news is ... nature granted you an interesting sky to play with. :-)
I don't know if you photoshop'd this already... I suspect you did because of the color of the sky. In any case, if you haven't... you might try duplicating this setting the layer to multiply. Reduce it way down so you have just a touch of multiply on it. That will bring out the yellows and reds in the ground and deepen the blue of the sky. Anyway, just something to play with.

Light at the Entrance of the Tunnelby GraineyComment by dwterry: This is kind of cool. It's perhaps a bit overexposed ... the yellow seems a little harsh on the ground inside the tunnel and I really wouldn't mind if the area outside the tunnel was darker. So you could darken it all up in photoshop. I'd probably duplicate the image onto another layer and select Multiply and then reduce the opacity down to where it looks good.
