I like your pose, your choice of backgrounds, and the effect on your eyes. The background is simple enough that it does not detract from you but at the same point is has a great texture that really adds to the picture. It is my personal opinion however is that the dark gradient effect isn’t adding anything to the picture. Good luck with your picture.

I'm lost with this image, I don't know what to say, I can't find anything to grab my attention here. Well, maybe this is a reflection of my state while looking at this photo. But then, why would a photo want to make me feel like this when I look at a photo? It's a spiral of thought... Well, the left eye is not covered nor exposed, so it looks not so good.
