Some people are saying B&W shouldn't count as duotone but I think it should. This is nice and sharp on the eyes, good background blurred and nicely composed

A bit of an uncomfortable pose - by that I don't think the dog was uncomfortable... the highlight on the back leg tends to draw the eye and the viewer sort of has to fit that to the dog. It does fit, but looks awkward, if that makes any sense! I like the bit of whitein the dog's eye - sorta gives him/her a sly, knowing look.

The tongue & expression don't do it for me. For me, lose the tongue (maybe mouth shut), don't crop off his forefoot, lose the vertical slanted line on the right side. He/she looks like a great dog.

What a strange and mysterious photo. The animal turns the wall into a painting, and then becomes part of the painting, but the painting is not of an animal. It's abstract. Or a landscape. Or both. There is definitely a landscape hiding here, breaking through the wall or into the wall.

sorry, I don't get it. Is the subject the animal, or the pattern on the wall? Looks like a museum setting to me?
