Cool knife - just bought a Leatherman as a gift for my son for graduating Cub Scouts and starting Boy Scouts. Nice shot too. :-)

Looks like a serious pocket knife. Yes, more contrast and crop out that brown thing in the upper left. That sounds a bit demanding on my part. How about I would like a tighter crop to remove the distracting brown area in the far upper left corner. I guess I had been using my serrated edge keyboard to start this comment. Sorry. I wonder if it was a reaction to the knife and the aggressive blade. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Photos that cause a strong reaction. Good work!

This is such a twisted image. I like the spirals and the long crop. The rust and pitting are great textural elements.

Agree on the contrast but would add that the upper left corner is distracting. Otherwise, my leathermen is my best friend.

After I get past my first thoughts about how much machining it must take to make one of these auger bits, I see the spiral as the main attraction. I think that I would have moved in closer, and left out the point end, to just have the spiral across the frame. This would be a good subject for a fisheye shot. Thanks for the idea!

I think a tighter crop would really improve this image... this can also ruin it by showing how out of focus it might be. Just my $.02

I like the nick out of the link in the foreground. Kind of a flat image IMO.

I am blown away, not really but I know what it is. Nice that the metal is not blown out, I'm guessing something over the flash or something else. I like the image. Interesting composition.

I agree with JR here - needs more contrast to separate it from the background. Nice details though.

Oh my, is that blood on the blade? ;\

Needs more contrast. It would bring out the knife from the bg me thinks.
