As always Sandy you have great photo's to look at. I know one thing for sure...I'd love to visit the places you do during your lunches, because you always have great things to look at and photograph. A beautiful image...excellently captured.

Interesting photo, I hope you also got some of the great looking car in the background as well. Good details and tones in the conversion.

I like the composition and story. Very good details for the contrasting coloring. Two things I'll say...first, portraits are my weekest part of photography so you can take my comments with a grain of salt. To me Ivory's face seems a little bit blown to me, I'm not sure what you used for lighting. I just looked at the blog and again to me, the original contained more detail in their faces. Second is not a comment but a request...could you put the camera info in when you submit, I think it will help with comments so that we can see your camera settings. And personally (this I'd like to request from everyone submitting portraits) I'd like to see a description of the lighting used, so people like myself who are trying to be better portrait photographers can learn the good tricks and proper lighting setups.
Nice start to this side challenge.

The shadows add visual interest. Tones on the conversion are good.

I like the texture and graininess of this, but I think if you saw the rear end of the train leaving (or front arriving) it would add more to the photo.

Nicely composed and a great capture for a minute, if only I could do portraits that well in an hours(or days) worth of time.
