Nice bokeh on the background, but imho it would have been even better when the green directly behind the bird was also more blurred. Also the tiny, in-focus snowflakes distract. Probably better to clone them out. Nice focus on the bird and nice composition.

Hmmm... Something bothers me about the composition, but I can't really put my finger on it. The first thing that comes up is the lighting, that leads the attention to the wing of the swan, wich is not the most interesting part imo. The focus should be on the heads, and they're too dark. Also the positioning of the swans (the relation between the two) doesn't tell much of a story. Therefore the back swan doesn't add much interest to the whole.

Nice shot, good composition and focus. I always wonder how to get this kind of shots without glueing the bug to the surface ;-) Welldone.

Hmmm... this image gets me in a cuddling mood ;-)
Pity of the shadow line on her body.
I'm usually confused about the term bokeh, but I think it refers to the circular formed spots you get (due to the shape of the diaphragm) that are typical when you photograph a background with e.g. sparkling reflections of light. So I wouldn't call this bokeh. But that's in my shallow experience and opinion of course ;-)

I love the angled structure of the rocks that accompany the leading (coast-)line. It makes it, together with the water, a very dynamic picture. Well seen!

DOF is shallow, but point of focus is spot on! Very natural expression of the model. Welldone!

Hmmmm, I don't know about this one. Composition is fine, exposure also, but there's something missing here. Maybe it's the reflection in the water that is not adding value to the pic (but that's a matter of taste I guess). Also the harsh daylight and therefore the strong shadows and contrast are not completely my cup of tea.

Very nice, lovely colors wich indeed reminded me of the movie. Maybe I would have tried to go a bit lower to get more perspective and depth into the cabin, to get a more dramatic feel. But overall: welldone!

The different autumn colors are beautifully presented in your image. I'm only not so sure about the composition. There is not much interesting to see in the foreground (grass) for instance. It could have been more appealing imho if you zoomed in on the foliage. Maybe a different point of view would also have worked better.

nice capture! It probably would have been even better with more symmtry and structure in the web. But then it probably wouldn't have met the challenge ;-). Welldone! 8
