One Rainy Dayby shalrathComment: Wow! So easy on the eye! Nice one.
I've been watching your progress for some time now and your skills, imagery, use of shadows light and colour are well-deserving of this ribbon. Congratulations Shalrath! PS the figure placed between the two trees and the green finish in this works brilliantly (I think!) |

trappedby ordinaryangelComment: How fantastically powerful is this!? The dark side inside us all just reaching out double-fold but kept at bay behind the innocent eye. The one bright light in the centre lets us know the eye is open and aware. Again I say wow! |

party gamesby ordinaryangelComment: Wow! This photo had me the moment I set eyes on it. It captures so many thoughts lurking behind those clear (yet serious) eyes! So thought-provoking you've made it so that the onlooker can't help but wonder what were you thinking of - or who were you looking at? Who's in for it? Maybe the pensiveness is just an illusion. Just what were you thinking? Or is this Atlier? Whatever provoked it, well done on capturing it for us all. |

simplicity in sepiaby ordinaryangelComment: Elegant simplicity in an "olde worldly" fashion not often appreciated these days. The light on the right of your forehead following through to your shoulder highlights the exquisit beguiling expression on your face; and placing yourself to the edge of the photo just seems right somehow, especially with the markings on the wall in the background. Well done Fiona! I agree that its your best photo yet. Message edited by author 2007-01-22 05:18:32. |

schizophrenic conversationsby ordinaryangelComment: Loved the aged, almost skeletal look of the pointing hand...also the damp/mottled look of the background. Mixture of old/faded and natural skin pigmentation awsome! |
