love the blown-up pic coming at you with the bird and the wood etc .. it makes an excellent image just like that .. the blown-up bit i mean ... the whole pic is great too .. a wonderful photograph and process .. love the high contrast and shapes of the houses .. :)

You've recieved some good critique from the others. I'm with them on a tighter crop, (mostly to remove the bear). That said, I like a little room around the young man as it gives more context to the picture. It's really a genuine moment caught candidly and the lighting/processing/focus are all very good.

natural scene??? It's natural in my house as well. Fooey on all those DNMC'ers. ;)
