Hi! I just noticed that this image didn't get any comments so I thought I would leave one.

Not sure why it scored below 5. It is a little soft but this appears to be more due to processing than the way it was shot though I could be wrong. Perhaps a bit more sharpening and some tweaking of levels might help.

The image is a little on the small size. Make sure you use the full 800 px to let the viewer get the full appreciation of your image. This tutorial explains how to prepare your image for submission. It was written before the max image size was changed to 800 px but it should still be handy //www.dpchallenge.com/tutorial.php?TUTORIAL_ID=26

The scene itself definitely has potential though. A nice blue dusk sky and the warm lights of the buildings complement each other well. The lights reflected in the water work well as leading lines to take the viewer into the scene.

the gentleman in the photo needs a bit more light or a lighter background. I actually think that this might be more effective against a white background now that I think of it

eta: I saw in a previous post you were in one of Darwin Wiggett's workshops. Was this also taken during one of them? (And I take it you aren't in Rhode Island anymore?)
