I think this is wonderful. The light plays well with your subject, and the tones are really pretty. Then again, I'm a fan of high key, so what do I know?

BTW, although I like this image, I know that if I were one of the commentors below who criticized the image and you didn't mark the comment as helpful, I'd hesitate to come back to elaborate. You'll get a lot more comments & a lot more honesty if it looks like you really want it.

I wish the nose were as clear as the eye and the hair. Great bokeh!

I like the concept, but the large blown area on her temple is distracting, while there is not enough light on the eye.

Very nice. Just a little overexposed. I'd also prefer to see a closer crop on this one, so the eye is just the middle third.

Very interesting. I wonder if the picture would have come across better if the model was looking though with a straight face and not at an angle. maybe focus a little sharper on the eye so that her eye lashes were more prominent.

I like this high key effect and the softness of the image. Very nice composition. Too bad about all those spoiler votes. You got a lot of high ones -- a lot of people liked it, but those low votes really killed the average. I hope you will continue to enter challenges.

I didn't leave one of the comments you mention, but I'd just like to say that I think this is lovely.

Just hinting at whats there works really well and I love the soft feel of the photograph.

Very nice.

This was my first challenge and didn't know what to expect. I was a little disapointed in some of the comments. Mainly, for the people who gave me one word type of comments like "overexposed".

I was not sure how to interpret that. Was their impression that i left the shutter open way too long and didn't know that the photo was converted to a high-key or did they know I used a high-key to and think it was just way too much.

I'm still hoping for comments on the photos, hoping for some clarification even after the fact. So if you are reading the comments please let me know what I could have done better. Or if you did leave one of those comments please elaborate on it.

Thanks for any comments
Cheers
