Got to find a way to soften light,reflctors ,tissue over flash, balance with available light,manual mode minus a stop or so,maybe even experiment with rear curtain flash.

This may look like digital manipulation but it is not>the background is gold tissue it was in a baking pan with some water in it and shot with slow shutter speed while using a hair dryer to make ripples> the blue is from a skylight>something happened to my key board!!!

Thanks! this just did't cut it in color. It was a cold but foggy morning and the frost was just begining to melt. I opened new document the same size in grayscale mode then copied and pasted each channel (RGB)Then experimented with their order and blending modes and opacity then flattened and set Black and White points in levels.

Thanks a lot ! I did this a while ago and don't remember details but this did't have a lot of post processing except I think it was when I discovered the high pass filter and used it for sharpening.
