yellow roseby kellieComment by kiwiness: The yellow flower really grabs your eye in this photo. It might have helped to increase the saturation a little here and maybe crop out those legs at the back. |

yellow roseby kellieComment by MaYz: nice subjects! But I think that it would have made a stronger impression with a different crop or framing. Maybe only having the pink and the yellow roses in the frame would have worked best, so that the other distracting objects (like the people and buckets) are cut out. |

yellow roseby kellieComment by GinaRothfels: This could use a bit more attention to the side details - especially the legs near the top of the photo. |

yellow roseby kellieComment by paynekj: Nice idea, but I think you needed to crop it slightly tighter to remove the other yellow roses up the top. |

yellow roseby kellieComment by tomzinho: for some reason the photo overall looks a bit dull. i think i would have cropped tighter and raised the color saturation levels a bit. the focus also seems a little soft . . . |

hiddenby kellieComment by mcrochip: Not sure if the sepia effect helps this shot, as it seems to emphacize the glare on the right window. |

The Bookby kellieComment by sulamk: Greetings From the critique Club
Composition I like the layout of this image with the train on the wall in the background, I can imagine travelling by steam train across the USA in the olden days!
Exposure I am afraid that you have tried an image in lighting conditions that were beyond the capabilities of your camera, and this has resulted in a lot of noise.
Processing: I dont think that processing would help in this instance.
Suggestions: Try taking lots of images in lots of different conditions until you find the optimum for your camera. Then work within it.
A lot of the lower end cameras do very well in the challenges, its a matter of knowing what your camera can and cant do.
Good luck with future challenges. |
